With technology moving forward every second, we encounter many different and useful advancements which benefit us in many ways, making our lives easier. One such advancement in technology is known as wireless sensor networking. A wireless sensor basically measures the surrounding temperatures, sounds, pressure, and climatic changes in a particular area. These wireless sensors have a lot which we can use to extract information which is beneficial to us in many situations.
First of all, it is a very flexible networking system. These wireless sensors can easily adapt to changes as that is their primary purpose; they change according to the temperature and register these changes as secure data which is used to counter these harsh climatic changes.

How Secure is LoRaWAN?


LoRaWAN is basically a low power operating network system which connects battery-run devices wirelessly to regional and national networks. It also connects them to global networks at times. This is what really makes LoRaWAN’s performance much more important than what meets the eye about this network.  This ultimately makes the security of LoRa WAN essential for its operators. Security is one aspect of the networking system which cannot be compromised, even if it comes at a very high cost. The security of LoRaWAN is ensured by the operators in a very unique way which also makes the networking system reliable for its users.
It has various security keys which have a length of around 128 bits! Amongst these important LoRa WAN keys, one is the AppSkey, the application session key. Its main task is to code and decode, in other words, encryption and decryption of all information and data come under this key. The payload is also entirely encrypted which means only you can access the messages you have in your inbox!

Another key which is related to networking is called NwkSkey. Yes, the network session key. This key is in control of all node based network interactions. It checks the authenticity of the messages. It is also used to trace down any suspicious device or unique devices in general.
These keys are always a part of the activation of the system and its security, as they are specific for every device. They can activate or change any device network.
